MY F*CK-UPS
Episode 1: What I Wish I Knew Before Starting
You usually hear entrepreneurs talk about their wins. This time, we’re talking about the decisions that went wrong.
My F*ck-Ups: Entrepreneurs’ Confessions is a candid, interactive event where real founders share the mistakes, wrong assumptions and painful lessons that shaped their entrepreneurial journeys.
One founder at a time will take the hot seat and reveal:
What they believed when they started
The warning signs they ignored
What went wrong—and what it cost them
How they recovered
What they would do differently today
But this event isn’t only about listening.
The host will step into the audience and invite participants to reflect, relate and—if they’re willing—share their own f*ck-up stories. You may discover that the mistake you thought was yours alone has been experienced by half the room.
No polished success stories.
No motivational speeches.
No pretending everything went according to plan.
Just real founders, real mistakes and practical lessons you can apply to your own journey.
Featured Guest
Julius Ruslan is a Bali-based entrepreneur and founder of MaxOneHotels and Parc Valle, with ventures spanning real estate, hospitality and F&B. He focuses on creating distinctive lifestyle concepts that combine design, strategy, and memorable experiences.
Krishna Chieppa is a permaculture-certified entrepreneur, green investor and co-owner of Serenity Eco Guesthouse, a family business operating in Canggu since 1999. Having invested in ventures such as Compost Heroes and Jiwa Community Garden, he will share his financial missteps, misjudged bets and hard-won lessons from investing his own capital.
One confession. One audience story. One shared lesson.
