This Friday, we are doing something truly special. Before the screen lights up, the stage will. Two of Bali’s finest tango dancers open the night with a live performance — an embrace, a pause, a spark.

Then we travel to Buenos Aires. Two teenagers meet. They go on to dance together for nearly fifty years. María Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes rise from neighborhood halls to the global stage — transforming tango into theatrical art.
