What going out in Uluwatu is like

Almost everything listed here is nightlife, and it is concentrated rather than spread out — a handful of clifftop clubs and beach clubs account for most of the calendar, running daytime sessions that roll into the evening. That makes Uluwatu easy to plan: there are fewer choices than in Canggu or Seminyak, and they are mostly large, ticketed events with a line-up worth checking in advance.

Factor in the drive. Uluwatu is well south of the Canggu and Seminyak strips and the journey back at night is long, so people tend to make a day of it rather than drop in for an hour.
