Southeast Asia’s largest literary festival: author talks, book launches, workshops and performances at venues across Ubud. Held every October.

How to get in

• A Festival Pass covers the main programme; it is sold on the festival’s Tickets page, with concession tickets for some visitors.
• Special events and masterclasses need their own tickets and seats are limited, so book them ahead.
• A free programme of book launches, panels, spoken word, dance and art exhibitions runs alongside; some free events ask you to register.
• Pre-festival events start a few days earlier (17 October in 2026).
