Quick answer: On BaliEvents a host gives each promoter their own link and commission rate, and the dashboard counts the paid orders and ticket value each link brings in, so you pay promoters on real sales, not screenshots. For your own ads, add your Meta pixel, TikTok pixel or Google Ads ID once, and every event page you host reports page views, checkouts and purchases to your ad accounts.

Fast facts — from the BaliEvents host dashboard:

Why use links instead of promoter guest lists?

In Bali most nights are sold by people: promoters in Canggu bars, hostel staff, villa managers, Instagram accounts. The usual proof is a name on a door list or a screenshot. A link per promoter replaces that with a number: how many paid orders came through that person, and for how much. It also works for things that are not people: your Instagram bio, a WhatsApp broadcast, a hotel's QR card, each ad.

How do I set up promoter links?

  1. Open your host dashboard and go to Promoters.
  2. Add a promoter with a name and a commission rate.
  3. Copy their link for any of your events and send it to them.
  4. Watch Sales by source. Each link shows its paid orders and ticket value; bookings with no link count as "no link".

Promoter codes cannot be changed or deleted by a host once made, so a promoter's sales history stays intact.

How is a promoter's commission worked out?

On paid orders only, and on the ticket value before BaliEvents' 3% service fee. A ticket at IDR 200,000 sold through a promoter on 10% earns them IDR 20,000; the guest pays IDR 206,000 and the fee is not part of the commission. If a buyer clicked two promoters' links, the sale goes to the last one used in the 30 days before buying.

You pay your promoters yourself, from the ticket money BaliEvents pays you every Friday. The dashboard gives you the figure for each.

How do I track my own ads on my event pages?

  1. Go to Settings → Ad tracking in the host dashboard.
  2. Paste your Meta pixel ID, TikTok pixel ID and/or Google Ads ID with your purchase conversion label.
  3. Save. Every event you host now reports to those accounts.

Your pixels only fire for visitors who accept ads cookies, and only send to your accounts; BaliEvents' own tags are kept separate. A purchase is reported when the buyer comes back to the event page after paying, so a buyer who closes the tab during payment is not counted in your ad account (the booking still shows in your dashboard).

What else helps promoters sell?

  • An online discount. The promo rate on your event lowers the price on the page for everyone, which gives promoters a price to quote.
  • Ticket types. Entry, entry with a drink, a table: each with its own price and limit.
  • Free guest list before a time. Promoters fill the early hours with names; the paid entry comes later.
  • Event Boost. Homepage visibility and SEO and GEO optimization for 5% of each ticket sold; Boost Plus at 10% adds a WhatsApp community announcement and an Instagram story.

Who builds this?

BaliEvents is built by Koza Lab in Canggu, which also runs Baliestate, a property search where agencies get qualified rental and sales enquiries over WhatsApp. Venues that need their own CRM or lead capture can ask about Enterprise on the partnership page.

Yes. Add your Meta pixel ID under Settings → Ad tracking, and your event pages report page views, checkouts and purchases to it, for visitors who accept ads cookies.

Does it work with TikTok and Google Ads?

Yes. TikTok pixel IDs and Google Ads IDs with a purchase conversion label are supported the same way.

Does it cost extra?

No. Promoter links and ad tracking are included on every plan, including Free.

Can a promoter see their own sales?

The sales per link are in your host dashboard; share the figures with each promoter when you pay them.
