Book this week
Quick answer: Bali venues fill weekday nights by giving each one a fixed, named event — a quiz on Tuesday, a sound bath on Wednesday, a DJ night on Thursday — and running it every week. List all its dates once on Balievents, choose a free guest list or a paid ticket, set a capacity so the page shows spots left, and use the check-in data to see who comes back. Listing is free with no commission.
Fast facts — from the Balievents partnership page and host dashboard:
Why a weekly night, and not a one-off?
A one-off has to be promoted from zero every time. A weekly night builds on itself: the same day, the same time, the same name. Guests learn it. Regulars bring friends. Search engines and AI assistants see a page with many dates and show it for each one.
It also gives your team a routine. The same set-up, the same door, the same list.
Which weekday formats work in Bali?
Look at what your space does well and who is around on a Tuesday.
| Format | Fits | Usual entry |
|---|---|---|
| Quiz, comedy or open mic | Bars and restaurants | Free guest list, or a low ticket with a drink |
| DJ or live music night | Bars, beach clubs | Free guest list before a set time |
| Sound bath, breathwork, yoga | Studios, wellness spaces | Paid ticket, small capacity |
| Workshop or class | Studios, cafés | Paid ticket, capped seats |
| Supper club or set dinner | Restaurants | Paid ticket per seat |
| Run club or community meetup | Cafés, gyms | Free RSVP |

Free guest list or paid ticket?
A free guest list gets names. It is right when you earn from the bar or the kitchen, and when the night is new. Set a time: free before 10 PM, for example, so people arrive early. Every name on Balievents comes with an email.
A paid ticket gets commitment. It is right when the night has a cost per guest — a teacher, a dinner, a DJ fee — or limited space. A guest who paid has a reason to turn up.
You can mix them: a free guest list for the first hour, then a paid entry. Or a ticket that includes a drink. More in how guest lists work in Bali.
How do I list a weekly night once?
- Create your event.
- Pick every date it runs in the calendar. One date is a one-off; several are a series.
- Add ticket types: Free, or a price for each type.
- Set a capacity if your space has one.
- Publish. Every date shows on the date and area pages for that night, such as Bali events tonight.
Your dashboard keeps sales and guest lists per date, so you see each Tuesday apart.
How do early-bird tickets and spots left help?
- Spots left. When you set a capacity, the event page shows how many spots are left as it fills. Guests see a real number, not a promise.
- Early-bird ticket. Add a cheaper ticket type with its own quantity and a sales-end time. When those are gone, the regular price applies. This sells the first wave and tells you early how a night is going.
- Online discount. Set a promo rate on the event and the lower price shows on the page and is charged at checkout. Use it for a new night's first weeks.
- Saved events. A guest who saves your event gets an email the day before.
What does the check-in data tell me?
Every booking, free or paid, gets a QR ticket. Your Door Staff or Manager scans it with the host dashboard, so you know who booked and who came.
Use it every week:
- Bookings vs arrivals. If many free bookings do not come, move the guest-list cut-off earlier or try a low paid ticket.
- Which date sold best. Compare each week in the Sales tab.
- Who brought guests. Give each promoter their own link and see their paid orders. Set-up in event promoters and ad tracking.
- Your list. Download every booking as an Excel file and invite past guests to the next night.

- Boost Plus. At 10%, adds an announcement in our WhatsApp community (500+ on WhatsApp and Telegram) and an Instagram story on @bali__guide (13K+ followers).
- Enterprise. Email marketing, social media marketing, tech consultancy and CRM integrations, for venues with many nights.
