Quick answer: Every Friday, Balievents prepares a payout run for the ticket orders paid up to the end of Thursday, Bali time, that have not been paid out yet. Our team reviews the run and then sends it to hosts' banks through Xendit. An order counts on the day it was paid, not the day of the event, so a ticket sold on Wednesday for next month's night is in this Friday's run. You receive the ticket value less any commission; the guest's 3% service fee is never part of it.

When do I get paid for tickets sold on Balievents?

Every Friday a payout run is prepared. It covers the orders paid up to the end of Thursday, Bali time, that have not been paid out before. An order paid on Friday morning waits for the next week's run.

What matters is the day the guest paid, not the day of your event. A host selling a New Year's Eve party from October is paid for those tickets week by week as they sell, not in January.

Our team reviews each run before it is sent to the banks through Xendit. How long a transfer then takes to reach your account depends on the banks, so this guide promises no arrival day; the dashboard shows a payout as on its way once it has been sent, and you get an email when it arrives.

How much of each ticket do I receive?

The ticket value, less the commission of your plan:

PlanWhat Balievents keeps from the ticket valueExample: one IDR 200,000 ticket
FreeNothingYou receive IDR 200,000
Event Boost5%You receive IDR 190,000
Boost Plus10%You receive IDR 180,000

The guest pays the ticket price plus a 3% service fee, IDR 206,000 in the example. The fee is Balievents' and is never part of your payout.

A few things change the ticket value:

  • Online discount or promo code. Your payout is worked out on what the guest actually paid for the ticket, after the discount.
  • Boost on some days only. Commission follows the order: an order paid while the event was boosted pays the boost's rate, an order paid on the Free plan pays none.
  • A deal agreed with us. If you agreed a fixed amount per ticket with Balievents, that amount is what you receive.

Promoters are not paid by Balievents. The dashboard shows what each promoter link sold, and you pay them yourself; see event promoters and ad tracking in Bali.

Where do I see what I will be paid?

Under Payments in your host dashboard. The card shows:

  • Sent to you so far: everything paid out to date.
  • On its way to your bank: a payout that has been sent and not yet arrived.
  • This Friday: the orders and the amount in the coming payout, and the last day it covers.
  • Next Friday: what has sold since, so far.
  • You owe us: refunds of tickets already paid out to you, which come off your next payout.
  • Payouts: each payout by date, with its number of orders and amount.

When a payout reaches your bank, you get an email with the amount sent, the bank account, the days it covers and, for each event, the tickets, their value and what you received.

What do I need to receive payouts?

A bank account saved under Payments in your dashboard, or in the event form when you create a paid event:

  1. Bank name — for example BCA, Mandiri or BNI.
  2. Account holder name — exactly as the bank has it.
  3. Account number.

Payouts are made in rupiah. A transfer to a wrong holder name or number can come back, so copy both from your banking app.

What happens to my payout when a guest is refunded?

  • Refunded before it was paid out: the order is left out of your payout. The money goes back to the guest.
  • Refunded after it was paid out: what you received for it is shown as You owe us and comes off your next payouts until it is covered.

The guest gets the ticket price back; the 3% service fee is not refunded. How hosts cancel and refund a booking: how to cancel a booking or refund a guest.

How do payouts compare with selling over bank transfer?

Selling over WhatsApp and bank transfer puts the money in your account at once, but you match every transfer to a name and keep the door list yourself. On Balievents each guest gets a QR ticket and you are paid once a week, with a statement per event. Full comparison: event ticketing platforms in Bali compared.

Frequently asked questions

When does Balievents pay event hosts?

Every Friday Balievents prepares a payout run for the ticket orders paid up to the end of Thursday, Bali time. Our team reviews it and then sends it to your bank through Xendit.

Do I have to wait until after my event to be paid?

No. Orders count on the day they are paid, so tickets for a later event go into the Friday run after they sell.

Is the 3% service fee part of my payout?

No. The guest pays it on top of your ticket price, and it stays with Balievents.

How much commission does Balievents take from ticket sales?

None on the Free plan, 5% of each ticket sold on Event Boost and 10% on Boost Plus. See the partnership page.

Where can I see my next payout?

Under Payments in your host dashboard: This Friday, Next Friday, payouts on their way and every payout sent.

What if a guest is refunded after I was paid?

What you received for that order comes off your next payout, and the dashboard shows it as You owe us until it is covered.
